Este programa marcó el segundo Curatorial Intensivo desarrollado en español por ICI. En colaboración con la Gerencia de Artes Plásticas y Visuales del Instituto Distrital de las Artes, el Curatorial Intensive en Bogotá, Colombia, examina los desarrollos del campo curatorial y el papel cambiante del curador, mientras explora estrategias y metodologías para desarrollar programas e instituciones. , la construcción de colecciones, la investigación regional e internacional y la logística de gestión de proyectos.

El Curatorial Intensive ofreció a los curadores de habla hispana la oportunidad de conocer a colegas de todo el mundo, compartir ideas sobre cómo ampliar los parámetros de sus prácticas y construir una red para futuras colaboraciones.


This program marked the second Curatorial Intensive developed in Spanish by ICI. In collaboration with the Gerencia de Artes Plásticas y Visuales of the Instituto Distrital de las Artes, the Curatorial Intensive in Bogotá, Colombia examines the developments of the curatorial field and the changing role of the curator, while exploring strategies and methodologies to develop programs and institutions, collection building, regional and international research, and the logistics of managing projects.

The magazine ERRATA # was created in 2009 under the direction of Jorge Jaramillo at the Fundacion Gilberto Alzate Avendaño, Management of Visual Arts.

Marta Ramos-Yzquierdo is an art historian from the UCM, Madrid, MA in Cultural Management from Instituto Ortega y Gasset, and she is part as curator of the ICI New York (Bogotá, 2013).

María del Carmen Carrión is an independent curator and art critic from Quito, who received an MA from the Curatorial Practice Program at California College of the Arts, in San Francisco, and taught at Universidad Católica in Quito.

José Roca

José Roca is a Colombian curator living and working in Bogotá. He is currently the Artistic Director of FLORA ars+natura, an independent space for contemporary art in Bogotá.

Chus Martínez

Born in Spain, Chus Martínez has a background in philosophy and art history. Currently she is the Head of the Institute of Art of the FHNW Academy of Arts and Design in Basel, Switzerland.
