From the beginning of our exhibitions program, ICI has produced publications to further the reach of curatorial visions and contribute new knowledge to the field. Our historic publications catalog features writing by some of the most innovative curators and thinkers in contemporary art, including original research and unique insights on many groundbreaking artists over the past 50 years.
Since 1990, ICI has also commissioned limited edition artworks to raise funds for its programs, collaborating with artists including Robert Rauschenberg, Sam Moyer, Angel Otero, Laurie Simmons, and Martine Syms. Most recently, ICI partnered with Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s studio and Latinx artist and queer icon Joey Terrill.
