Announcing commissioned artist Pablo Helguera!

On Jul 25, 2022

New York, NY, USA

Benefit in a Box 2022 is coming soon, and we’re thrilled to announce that Pablo Helguera is the commissioned artist in this year’s boxes! Perhaps best known for his “artoons,” a long-running cartoon series satirizing the art world, Helguera is also a long-time ICI collaborator, Curatorial Intensive faculty member (2012 and 2015), performer, author, educator, and former Director of Adult and Academic Programs at MoMA. Helguera’s artoons come to life as interactive objects editions created exclusively for ICI that activate the artist’s conception of games as social engagement.

PRE-ORDER YOUR BOX TODAY!

Benefit in a Box is part of ICI’s Annual Fall Benefit and Auction, a celebration of the international network that helps support our work as we advance the impact of curators, make global connections, and build stronger art communities. Each box features exciting surprises and the unique elements of an ICI Benefit, as well as an invitation to our in-person cocktail reception and auction viewing in New York on October 25. Look for more announcements about the Benefit and box contents soon!

Boxes are available at various levels of giving, and will be delivered in mid-October; supplies of each box level are limited. Payment plans and discounts for members are available. Please contact Manuela Paz at manuela@curatorsintl.org with any questions.
