Independent Curators International (ICI) supports the work of curators to help create stronger art communities through experimentation, collaboration, and international engagement. Curators are arts community leaders and organizers who champion artistic practice; build essential infrastructures and institutions; and generate public engagement with art. Our collaborative programs connect curators across generations, and across social, political and cultural borders. They form an international framework for sharing knowledge and resources — promoting cultural exchange, access to art, and public awareness for the curator’s role.
Feminist Press

Feminist Press is an independent nonprofit literary publisher that promotes freedom of expression and social justice. We publish exciting authors who share an activist spirit and a belief in choice and equality. Founded in 1970, FP began by rescuing “lost” works by writers such as Zora Neale Hurston and Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and established their publishing program with books by American writers of diverse racial and class backgrounds. Since then they have also been bringing works from around the world to North American readers. FP seeks out innovative, often surprising books that tell a different story.
