MAD-LIB[rary] Vol. 4

Sep 20 – 22, 2013

New York, NY, USA
New York Art Book Fair

MoMA PS1
22-25 Jackson Avenue
Long Island City, NY 11101

LIMITED TIME ONLY (LTO) presents MAD-LIB [rary] SEPTEMBER EDITION at MoMA PS1, in partnership with Independent Curators International's Curatorial Hub and The Feminist Press.

The creative collaborative and production team LIMITED TIME ONLY (Legacy Russell, Stina Puotinen, and Sarah Giovanniello) invite you to join them for the next installment of the popular "choose-your-own-adventure" book arts event hosted as part of the New York Art Book Fair, September 20-22, 2013.

In July 2012, the MAD-LIB[rary] program had its debut, inviting the public to participate in true Mad Lib fashion in a zany, surreal, Dada-inspired, and perhaps nonsensical assemblage extravaganza. In the fourth edition of this continued series, LTO invites another fabulous roster of New York artists and writers to contribute very limited edition printed materials, and attendees then curate their own magazine or booklet content, and B-Y-O-creative-vision. Paying homage to the histories of literature, art, book-art, found art, flea markets, and book fairs, MAD-LIB[rary] provides an alternative from the glossy, pre-packaged culture of mass media.

MAD-LIB[rary] is all at once a living archive, a museum, a magazine, a madness—this program has been a wild success for this past year, selling out editions to a packed house at ICI, and now, over one year after its world debut, we invite you and yours back for more MAD-LIB[rary] madness!
