The New York Times Feminist Reading Group is part of an ongoing series and the third to be held at ICI’s Curatorial Hub. This session will be dedicated to looking at the February 6, 2014 edition of The New York Times from a feminist perspective. ICI’s Curatorial Hub will be open to the public throughout the day as a reading room for those who want to arrive early to browse complementary copies of the newspaper before the evening session.
Linden and Kennedy have been collaborating since 2008. Their projects have taken place at the Whitney Museum of American Art, the New Museum, The Brooklyn Museum’s Sackler Center for Feminist Art, and Performa ’09, as well as at other museums and galleries in New York, Los Angeles, and internationally.
Further information about this project may be found at http://www.contemporaryfeminism.com.
The New York Times Feminist Reading Group is made possible in part by funding and support from Culture Push, Inc. and is also supported by a grant from the New York Council for the Humanities.
