Drawing Room Confessions

Feb 26, 2013
6:30–8 pm

New York, NY, USA
ICI Curatorial Hub

401 Broadway, Suite 1620
New York, NY 10013

ICI welcomes to the Hub the journal, Drawing Room Confessions, for a performative display of its contents and editorial process. The evening will include a sound presentation with voice-overs by David Lamelas and Gerard Hemsworth, a live interview with the journal editor Manuela Ribadeneira and Peter Russo (Director of Triple Canopy), plus some unexpected guests.

Drawing Room Confessions is named after a parlour game played by Marcel Proust, the Surrealists and others.
It is made of words and exchanges, with no images. Each issue focuses on one artist and includes six different sections (The Egoist, The Blind Man, Two to Tango, Ekphrasis, Time Line and La Madeleine).

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to rsvp@curatorsintl.org with DRAWING ROOM CONFESSIONS in the subject field. For more information, please contact ICI’s Public Programs & Research Coordinator Misa Jeffereis at misa@curatorsintl.org.
