Natalia Porter is a Mexican artist, living in New York City since 2000. She holds masters degrees in both Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and Fine Arts from CUNY - Queens College. Natalia's work is diverse and multidisciplinary, ranging from small-scale functional objects to medium-scale sculptures and drawings, large-scale installations and public art pieces. She works in response to her surroundings by interacting with people, places or things she encounters, often working in collaboration with others. Her intention is to create art and experiences that lead to critical thought, encourage participation and suggest new ways to perceive reality. Her work has been exhibited and published internationally, including: Queens Museum, Elizabeth Foundation for The Arts, and Estación Induanilla (Mexico).
