Lilian Fraiji is an independent curator and producer based in Manaus, Amazon, Brazil. She is the Co-Founder of Manifesta, an organization devoted to developing multidisciplinary contents involving Arts, Architecture, and Politics. She has collaborated on projects such as the New Curators Program, which focused on young curators was presented in São Paulo and Recife; and Terra Brasilis, an exhibition of Brazilian art showcased in Europalia Brussels. Fraiji has also organized several projects such as Lights from Amazon, which included the creation of a Pinacotheque for the State of Amazon; Elas, a photography exhibition on gender presented in Salvador and São Paulo; and LABVERDE: Art Experiences in the Amazon, a project bridging art and science produced inside the Amazon Rainforest. Fraiji received her degree in Communication from the Superior School of Marketing, a post-graduate degree in Cultural Policies from Barcelona University, and she holds an MA in Curating Arts from University Ramon Llull, Barcelona.
