Isabel Casso is the Assistant Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Casso's recent projects include a special-exhibition with Carmen Argote and retrospective of Celia Alvarez Muñoz. Previously, she was the Marjorie Susman Curatorial Fellow at the MCA Chicago where she organized Grain of a Hand: Drawings with Graphite and a solo exhibition of Chilean artist Alfredo Jaar. She has held positions at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Casso received her M.A. in the History of Art from Williams College and a B.A. in Art History and Economics from Loyola Marymount University.
