This fall, the Bucknell University’s Samek Art Museum in Lewisberg, Pennsylvania has invited campus creators from beyond the visual arts, including poetry, dance, and music, to respond to do it (home).

Collaborators were invited to create short video recordings that document how the idea of instructions, scripts, and scores inform their respective art practices. The resulting video wall adds an interdisciplinary dialogue within the exhibition.

Every week two artists’ instructions will be enacted by local community members and appear on the wall of our gallery alongside the instructions – creating an unfolding exhibition-in-progress.

do it (home) is on view through November 21, 2020, so be sure to visit the museum’s website here for more information.
