In our third annual public curatorial conference as part of the 2026 Curatorial Forum, Mending Wall featured two panels and a keynote lecture with artists, curators, and cultural practitioners who explored what it means to be a "good neighbor" across institutional and artistic scales. This panel, “Act Local,” brings the focus to the community level with panelists Katie Pfohl and Daniel Tucker and moderator Ross Stanton Jordan. The panelists placed the topic of neighborliness in the context of history and personal practice, and explored how museums and other cultural spaces can collaborate with the communities they inhabit and serve.
