We’re thrilled to announce a very special ICI patrons trip to St. Louis, June 21-23, 2019.
Drawing from ICI’s continued engagement with art communities across the US, this exclusive program focuses on St Louis’s thriving arts scene and includes you in ICI’s special relationship with the Pulitzer Arts Foundation and Emily Rauh Pulitzer, ICI’s 2018 Leo Award recipient.
We will be staying at the Chase Park Plaza Royal Sonesta Hotel off of Forest Park. Below is a preliminary outline of our itinerary, led by some of the key cultural leaders in the city and ICI collaborators:
Friday June 21, 2019
Our program will begin with lunch followed by a tour of the St Louis Museum of Art, led by Simon Kelly, Curator and Head of Department of Modern and Contemporary Art; and meet with collectors Jan and Ronnie Greenberg, before dinner.
Saturday June 22, 2019
Saturday, we will continue to explore the city’s dynamic cultural life with a studio visit, a tour of the home and renowned collection of John and Alison Ferring, visits of the Pulitzer Arts Foundation led by Cara Starke, Director, and of Contemporary Art Museum, led by Wassan Al-Khudhairi, Chief Curator; we’ll enjoy an evening cocktail at the home of Emily Rauh Pulitzer and tour her private collection before dinner back in town.
Sunday June 23, 2019
Sunday, we will visit the Laumeier Sculpture Park, and be back in the city to meet with artists and experience Counterpublic, a triennial exhibition along Cherokee Street.
