Oko Goto

Goto is currently based in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from BA Fine Art (Studio Practice and Contemporary Critical Studies) at Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2009. She is interested in the idea of everyday life in art, and how an art exhibition makes its audiences to appreciate art in parallel to the everyday life as a practice of numerous small critical situations. She considers her artistic and curatorial practice to be inseparable from each other, for example in her solo exhibition in 2011 she exhibited both her artwork, found images and readymade objects. She has been working as an editor for invisible man / magazine (published by artbeat publishers and G/P gallery) as well as Invisible Man Paper, a series of free publication combines contemporaneous writings and images.
