She has collaborated with NGOs and international foundations to deliver various research reports on "The State of Visual Arts in Tunisia."
Her expertise is recognized in art criticism and curatorial practices. In 2020, she founded the contemporary art platform ARCHIVART. It serves as a space for visibility, promotion, and archiving of works, texts, and content related to the projects of Tunisian, Arab, and African artists.
Through curating more than 20 exhibition projects, Wafa Gabsi is actively involved in creating new narratives about contemporary African and Arab art.
ARCHIVART’s vision is to leave written and visual records of the history of contemporary art in the Arab and African worlds. The project of documenting this history is currently in its early stages, with publications being produced by ARCHIVART.
