Miriam de Miguel

Based in Madrid, Spain, Miriam de Miguel Ezaguoi works as a Technical Adviser in the Subdirectorate General for Promotion and International Relations at the Institute for Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) of the Spanish Ministry of Culture. She is a civil servant of the Corps of Museum Curators and has held management positions at the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and the State Secretariat for Communication of the Presidency of the Government. She has a degree in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in Museum Studies from New York University (NYU), where she studied on a Fulbright scholarship. Internationally, she has worked for organizations such as Americas Society in New York and the Cultural Office of the Spanish Embassy in Washington DC. She currently combines her institutional work with teaching Spanish Modern Art at Syracuse University Madrid.
