Rosana Sancin is an architect and curator interested in radical Pan-Africanist legacies: Relation, quilombos, marronage, non-Western epistemologies, liberation, and healing practices. Her current projects include platform Border Dwellers and shape-shifting project #givemethepowers, triggered by Haitian revolution and the "Scramble for Africa."
She began her career as an independnet curator, and has previously held the positions of Director and Chief Curator at Museum for Contemporary Art Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin, and was curator at Moderna Galerija and Museum for Contemporary Art Metelkova, both in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Rosana has Fellowships from Savvy Contemporary, Berlin, from University of Capetown, South Africa, and from Princeton University in the U.S. She has given lectures at universities worldwide.
