Natalie Musteata

Natalie Musteata is a writer, curator, and film producer. Most recently, she co-produced the short film Two People Exchanging Saliva with artist Alexandre Singh (2026). With Singh, she also produced The Appointment and co-curated A Gothic Tale at the Legion of Honor Museum in San Francisco (2019-20). Other exhibitions include if I can’t dance to it, it’s not my revolution at Haverford College (2014-15) and UNREST: Revolt against Reason at apexart (2012). Earlier in her career, Musteata was a Curatorial Fellow and Research Assistant at Performa and collaborated with Jens Hoffmann on The Wizard of Oz at the CCA Wattis Institute. Alongside her curatorial work, she contributes regularly to publications such as Artforum and ARTnews, and has organized conferences and presented at institutions including the Centre Pompidou and The New Museum. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History and a film certificate from The Graduate Center, CUNY.
