Ben Foch (b. 1977) is an artist based in Chicago. He grew up in Park Forest, IL and completed his BFA at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1999. He co-founded the artist-run exhibition space New Capital in the East Garfield Park neighborhood of Chicago from 2010 through 2017, which developed a partnership with Starcom MediaVest Group, a major global media communications agency, exploring key tenets through onsite exhibitions in their North American headquarters under the guidance of CEO Laura Desmond. He is represented by M. Leblanc (Chicago) with two solo exhibitions, Proof Of Werq in 2024 and Hood Ornament, in 2021, with a third forthcoming. Other solo presentations include Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue (2026) at The Epiphany Center for the Arts, Chicago, curated by Vincent Uribe; Haiku (2019) at Selena's Mountain, Brooklyn; Full Grown (2018) at Efrain Lopez Gallery, Chicago; and Of Human Bondage (2018) at Roots and Culture, Chicago. Foch’s work has been recently included in group exhibitions such as The Highest Level of Listening (2025) at Gure, Chicago, curated by Olivia Swider; Miniotics (2025) at Weatherproof, Chicago, curated by Trinity Bavaria and Gunner Dongieux; Tricky Passage (2022) at Rhona Hoffman, Chicago, curated by Ben Gill; and Ugly Feelings (2016) at Side Car Gallery, Hammond, IN, curated by Karolina Gnatowski.
