Jenna Washington is the Associate Director of Mariane Ibrahim (Chicago, Paris, Mexico City). She holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University and a bachelor’s degree in History of Art and Architecture, with a minor in Environmental Science, from DePaul University. Her thesis examined contemporary West African architecture as a lens for understanding the impacts of colonialism and climate change. Washington began her career in arts education at the Hyde Park Art Center and later worked at The Studio Museum in Harlem. She hopes to further her experience working directly with artists and their archives.
