Destiny Gray is a curator based in New York whose practice centers on expanding access to contemporary art and fostering meaningful connections between artists and communities. She is interested in artists whose work creates conditions for recognition rather than explanation, drawn to practices that operate beyond the strictly visual: sound, gesture, the body, and objects that outlast their original function. Currently Artist Coordinator at White Cube, she has contributed to exhibitions and institutional partnerships internationally. Her curatorial approach asks how institutions can function as sites of recognition rather than extraction, and how exhibitions can create space for collective knowledge-making. Gray's curatorial work has received critical attention in The Brooklyn Rail. Her experience includes critical writing for Contemporary And (C&) and educational initiatives at The Studio Museum in Harlem.
