Kate Sierzputowski is Artistic Director of EXPO CHICAGO. In this role, she leads the fair’s curatorial and public programming, including /Dialogues, the Exchange Stage, the Director Summit, and the Curatorial Forum, which is presented in partnership with Independent Curators International (ICI). Her work brings together leading international curators, artists, and institutional partners to foster critical discourse and cross-cultural exchange.
Previously, Sierzputowski co-founded BARELY FAIR, an international miniature art fair showcasing small-scale exhibitions by artist-run spaces, and has served as co-director of Julius Caesar, a Chicago-based artist-run gallery. She founded INSIDE\WITHIN, a digital platform focused on artist interviews and studio visits, and her writing has appeared in publications including Hyperallergic, Teen Vogue, and Chicago Magazine.
