Dylan Robinson is a xwélmexw scholar and artist (Stó:lō/Skwah) and Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia in the School of Music. From 2015-2022, he was the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts at Queen’s University on Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe lands. His current work focuses on the role public art plays in the interpellation of settler subjectivity and Indigenous resurgence. Robinson’s monograph, Hungry Listening (Minnesota University Press, 2020) has won numerous awards including the best book for the Native American and Indigenous Studies Association, and the Society for Music Theory’s Wallace Berry Award.
