Mori Art Museum

Mori Art Museum was inaugurated in 2003 on the 53rd floor of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower as the primary cultural component of the entire development district. It has been striving to take the lead in introducing contemporary art from around the world, and in particular, Asia, with the key emphasis on contemporaneity and internationality. Its exhibition programs have been taking diverse focus over different artistic genres including art, design, fashion, and architecture, different regions from China, India to the Middle East, and a broader historical timeframe seen through contemporary lenses. Taking advantage of the nature of its location, the Mori Art Museum has contributed to making “contemporary art” accessible to the wider public and continues to implement and promote its vision of Art and Life in the 21st century.
