Peter Simensky (b. 1977) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. His recent solo exhibitions include: Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego Ca, 2007; Project Row House, Houston TX, 2005; Swiss Institute of Contemporary Art, Armory Show, New York, 2005. Froup exhibitions include: Museum 52, New York, 2009, Sculpture Center, New York, 2009; Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2007. Simensky is a 2007 NYFA Grantee and has participated in residencies at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, DieuDonne Papermill in New York, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, and Y Foundation in Berlin.
