Miglė Survilaitė is an art historian and the chief curator at the MO Museum in Vilnius, Lithuania, which was opened in 2018. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Vilnius Art Academy, where she focused her research on Lithuanian art of the 1990s. Survilaitė has worked at the MO Museum for a decade, playing a decisive role in its establishment, growth, and recognition as a key institution in Lithuanian art and culture. She has co-curated several notable exhibitions at the MO Museum, including The Origin of Species: 1990s DNA (2019), Kaunas–Vilnius: Moving Mountains (2022), and Žilvinas Kempinas. Portraits-Fossils 2023 (2023). Additionally, she co-curated the exhibition Lithuanian Contemporary Art from the 1960s to Today, A Major Donation at the Centre Pompidou in Paris in 2024.
