Judy Reissmann is ICI's Director of Development. Judy has over ten years of experience in fundraising with special focus on development communications, project management, and donor engagement. She is known for her creative approaches to problem-solving and thoughtful efforts towards building relationships with constituents and colleagues.
Previously, Judy was Director at CCS Fundraising, a strategic fundraising consulting firm that partners with nonprofits for transformational change, where she partnered with nonprofit leaders across all sectors in pursuit of their missions. She has consulted for clients including Berkeley Carroll School, Ocean Conservancy, Charm City Cultural Cultivation (a Baltimore arts organization founded by artist Derrick Adams), Represented Foundation, and The Center for Discovery. She spent the early years of her professional career at NYU Langone’s Development Shop, closing out as a Donor Engagement and Communications Manager.
Judy is from Eswatini, Southern Africa and came to the US in 2008 to study. She holds an MPA from the Wagner School of Public Service with a focus on International Health Policy, and a BA in Sociology with a minor in Studio Art and Urban Studies from Colorado College. In addition to being a development professional, Judy is a multidisciplinary artist, expressing herself as a photographer, writer, illustrator, and painter with a focus on portraiture; she loves exploring new ways to create and connect through art.
