The 2025 Curatorial Forum presented a public curatorial conference, Building A Cathedral, with two panels featuring artists, curators, and cultural practitioners who explored the possibilities of transcending traditional art institutional structures. The Transmission panel considered the many modes by which we pass the baton onto the next generation. In this far-ranging conversation, Renan Laru-an (independent curator and theorist, former Artistic Director of Savvy Contemporary) and Camila Marambio (Co-director of Ecological Culture/Curator of New Perspectives, Para la Naturaleza) explored ideas of stewardship, sustainability, and the importance of human relationships in building archives and relaying knowledge, moderated by Camille Bacon (writer, co-Editor-in-Chief of Jupiter Magazine).

Video with ASL interpretation will be available soon.
