The participants of the Curatorial Intensive in Manila will each present their exhibition and project proposals they have developed throughout the course of the week.

Symposium Schedule
Session 1: 10:00–11:30am
Break: 11:30–11:45am
Session 2: 11:45am–1:15pm

The Curatorial Intensive is a weeklong professional development program that brings together emerging curators for the opportunity to exchange ideas, develop their curatorial practice, and learn from their colleagues. Please see the program page for further information.

Con Cabrera

Con Cabrera (b. 1981, Philippines) is a visual artist and independent curator.

Mónica Amieva

Mónica Amieva (Mexico City, 1980) is an art historian and pedagogial curator.

Tessa Maria Guazon

Tessa Maria Guazon is a curator and educator based in Manila.

Patricia Cariño Valdez

Patricia Cariño Valdez is an independent curator and project manager based in Oakland, CA.

Sydney Stoudmire

Sydney Stoudmire is an independent curator and the Executive Director of Woman Made Gallery (WMG), an organization dedicated to creating equality in the art world.

Avie Felix

Avie Felix is a teacher, writer, multi-disciplinary artist, and advocate of gender, culture and environment.

Asli Seven

Asli Seven is a curator and writer based between Istanbul and Paris.

Amara Antilla

Amara Antilla is the Senior Curator at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) in Cincinnati, where she is responsible for shaping the CAC’s robust exhibitions program.

Jorell Legaspi

Jorell Legaspi is the Deputy Director-General for Museums of the National Museum of the Philippines.
