Muriel Enjalran in Conversation with Yevgeniy Fiks and Renaud Proch

May 13, 2013
6:30–8 pm

New York, NY, USA
ICI Curatorial Hub

401 Broadway, Suite 1620
New York, NY 10013

ICI’s 2012 Curatorial Fellow, Muriel Enjalran, will speak with Yevgeniy Fiks about his practice and the articulation of politics and aesthetics in his work. The conversation stems from Enjalran's fellowship research into forms of artistic engagement with the public sphere, as well as the relationship between art, society, and politics in the U.S. Enjalran will discuss with Fiks the notion of political (or politicized) art, the importance of memory in his practice, as well as the sense of responsibility in the representation of fleeting histories.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to rsvp@curatorsintl.org with MURIEL ENJALRAN in the subject field. For more information, please contact ICI’s Public Programs & Research Coordinator Misa Jeffereis at misa@curatorsintl.org
