Tanya Zimbardo is a contemporary art curator based in San Francisco. As the assistant curator of media arts at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, she has curated exhibitions of work by contemporary artists Jim Campbell, Runa Islam, Pat O'Neill, and Kerry Tribe, Future Histories: Theater Gates and Cauleen Smith and The Studio Sessions. Zimbardo co-curated Nothing Stable under Heaven, Soundtracks, Nam June Paik: In Character, The More Things Change, Fifty Years of Bay Area Art: The SECA Awards, among others. She has worked on numerous SFMOMA exhibitions including surveys of William Kentridge and Suzanne Lacy.
