Lisa Cooke Ravensbergen is a mother, multi-hyphenate theatre artist and scholar working across Turtle Island as a performer, play maker, writer, dramaturge, director, curator, space holder and teacher. A tawny mix of Ojibwe / Swampy Cree and English/Irish, Ravensbergen resides on unceded Coast Salish territory in Vancouver. She is an associate artist with Full Circle: First Nations Performance and advisor for Indigenous futures at the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, Vancouver. Her newest work, The Seventh Fire, premiered in 2023 in Vancouver and is currently touring.
