Tasja Langenbach is an independent curator based in Cologne and Berlin. She has shared her fascination for contemporary time-based arts in cooperations with institutions and festivals worldwide like, among others, macLYON, Lyon/France; ZKM / Center for Arts and Media Karlsruhe/Germany; Museum Folkwang, Essen/Germany; Limited Access Festival, Tehran/Iran; Goethe Institutes in Lagos/Nigeria, Shanghai/China, Odessa/Ukraine. Since 2012 she has also been the Artistic Director of Videonale – Festival for Video and Time-Based Arts in Bonn/Germany, one of the oldest festivals for video and time-based arts in Europe with its base at the Kunstmuseum Bonn. She is a regular member of juries and commissions for contemporary arts, and writes and teaches with a focus on art in public space and time-based artistic practices.
