Ohad Meromi was born 1967 in Kibbutz Mizrah, Israel. Meromi received his BFA from Bezalel Academy of Arts, Jerusalem, and his MFA from Columbia University, New York. Since 2008 he has been a professor at the Bard MFA program. Meromi’s sculptures, installations, and videos have been exhibited in Art In General, New York; Harris Lieberman gallery, New York; MOMA PS1, New York; The Israel Museum; Public Art Fund, New York; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; Magasin 3 Stockholm; SculptureCenter, Long Island City; the 14th Sculpture Biennial, Carrara; Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art; 2007 Lyon Biennial; De Appel Museum, Amsterdam; Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo; CCS Bard; Serpentine Gallery, London; Reykjavik Art Museum; Moscow Biennial; CCA Warsaw; The Jewish Museum, New York; Martin Gropius Bau, Berlin; and Heidelberger Kunstverien. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
