Vidushi Lohia is a South Asian, Chicago-based artist, curator, and arts administrator whose practice explores memory, cultural inheritance, and embodied knowledge through material and exhibition-making. She holds a BFA in Arts Administration and Fiber Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MA in Entrepreneurship for Creatives from Columbia College Chicago.
Lohia’s curatorial practice is grounded in research, collaboration, and creating connections between artists, audiences, and cultural contexts. She assistant curated We Are What We You Eat at Heaven Gallery in 2022 and has supported exhibitions, development and guest services at institutions including Nature Morte Gallery in New Delhi, Hyde Park Art Center, Weinberg/Newton Gallery, and the Driehaus Museum in Chicago. At the Driehaus, she recently supported A Tale of Today: Materialities, working alongside artists, guest curator Dr. Giovanni Aloi, and museum staff on artist communication, installation, and interpretive materials. Across her artistic and curatorial work, Lohia is interested in how stories, histories, and experiences are carried, preserved, and transformed through material and collective exchange.
