Brian Jucas is an IT professional, painter, and the founder and director of the artist-run space, Patient Info. Since 2019, he has curated, co-curated or hosted over 40 exhibitions, featuring the work of more than 200 artists. Through his curatorial work Jucas celebrates collaboration and the presentation of art in a non-traditional exhibition space.
His recent curatorial projects include Ed Kashi: Photos from Too Hot To Work (2026), Jessica Zawadowicz & Yaismel Alba Garib: There’s a box they don’t tell you about (2025), Noelle Herera: Wow Wow Wubzy! (2025), and Jessie Burnes & Leasho Johnson: All My Passwords Are Your Name (2024).
Brian holds a B.Sc. in Business Administration from Fordham University, an M.Sc. in Management from Fordham University and the Antwerp School of Management, and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Union League Club of Chicago as the Chair of the Art Committee and is a member of the Lumin Arts Cultural Foundation’s Program Committee. He served as a Lumin Arts Visual Fellowship Preliminary Judge in 2025 and 2026.
