Luiza Testa is an independent curator who works on projects that articulate social debates in the fields of feminism, sexuality, ecology, and digital art. She is the curator of the exhibitions Ton Gomes: Clay to Concrete (Casa Atelier, Miami, 2025), Carla Duncan: e que nos tarde a tarde... (OMA Galeria, São Paulo, 2025), Acervo Migratório: Emilia Brandão Carneiro (Galeria Sérgio Caribé, São Paulo, 2025), Juli Manara: Manacá (Embassy of Brazil in London, United Kingdom, 2025), Etnogênese: O que é e o que pode ser (MAC Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, 2024), and ESPANTO! She was assistant curator of Espirales Transatlánticas at the Havana Biennial (Cuba, 2024/25) and was a member of the jury of the Pipa 2025 Prize Nomination Committee. In May 2024 she participated in the DOMUS Art Residency curatorial residency, in Italy. She holds a degree in Literature (Portuguese/French) from the University of São Paulo (USP) and a Master's degree in Critical Theory and the Arts from the School of Visual Arts, New York (2017). She completed an internship in the Curatorial Department of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
