Camila Arbeláez (b. Bogotá, Colombia; based in Uruguay) is an independent curator and researcher. She holds a degree in Literature, Arts, and Cultural Mediation (UNILA, Brazil) and has completed postgraduate studies in Contemporary Arts Studies (UFF, Brazil) and in Social Communication and Journalism (Unisabana, Colombia). Her research interests encompass contemporary Latin American art, memory, bodies, and ecologies, with a focus on interdisciplinary explorations.
Between 2023 and 2025, she was part of the CAMPO Foundation as Manager of Development and Artist Relations, working on its residencies, exhibitions, and public programs. In 2025, she taught at the Faculty of Arts of the University of the Republic (UdelaR). She has curated and co-curated solo and group exhibitions, including: Giro Gráfico: Solo aparece lo que antes pudo ser ocultado (Museo de la Memoria, 2023–24); Karina Flores: Micro-Cosmic Landscapes (Magma Futura, 2025); and Federika Odriozola: Aporia (310 Arte Estudio, 2025). She is currently co-curating No longer the stars (SUBTE, 2026) and Alejandra González Soca: Between Waters (Magma Futura, 2026). She lives in Montevideo, Uruguay.
