Yue Xu is a Chicago-based artist and curator whose work emerges from survival strategies shaped by migration and the conditions of the present, where identity often dictates visibility and belonging.
Xu is the co-organizer of ENROUTE (2025–), a collaborative curatorial project with Jess Bass, and has been Guest Curator at The Plan in Chicago since 2023. Alongside independent projects, Xu is also Curator of Programs at the Chinese American Museum of Chicago, where they develop exhibitions and events that connect archival histories with contemporary practice. Xu holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BFA from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
