Paula Volpato is a Brazilian researcher and curator trained as an architect and based in New York City. Her work engages archival practices, material cultures, and contested imaginaries that shape our relationships to the built environment. She was the assistant curator of Everlasting Plastics, the theme of the U.S. Pavilion in the 2023 Venice Architecture Biennale. Paula is currently pursuing an M.S. in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices in the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation at Columbia University.
