ICI TRAVELS: MILAN & TURIN

ICI Travels: Milan & Turin
June 20–22 (Milan)
June 22–25 (Turin)

Join ICI on an intimate 6-day, 5-night patrons trip to Milan and Turin, Italy. This exclusive program continues our engagement with ICI’s 2019 Leo Award recipient, Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo who has graciously offered to host us in Turin and provide us with her personal recommendations.

The trip begins in Milan with private visits to top contemporary art spaces such as the Fondazione Prada and Pirelli HangarBicocca. We continue in Turin with visits to the Castello de Rivoli, The GAM, Galleria di Arte Moderna, and of course the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, designed by Claudio Silvestrin, which is now an internationally acknowledged center for research, experimentation, and exchange between artists, critics, curators and collectors from all over the world.

Enjoy luxurious accommodations in the heart of Turin at the hotel Principi di Piemonte. A symbol of ancient Italian splendor, it is hosted in an impressive Rationalist-style building, one of Turin’s most refined architectural jewels.

Independent Curators International (ICI)

Independent Curators International (ICI) supports the work of curators to help create stronger art communities through experimentation, collaboration, and international engagement. Curators are arts community leaders and organizers who champion artistic practice; build essential infrastructures and institutions; and generate public engagement with art. Our collaborative programs connect curators across generations, and across social, political and cultural borders. They form an international framework for sharing knowledge and resources — promoting cultural exchange, access to art, and public awareness for the curator’s role.
