ICI is pleased to announce its participation in the NADA MIAMI ONLINE VIEWING ROOM December 1–5 in conjunction with ICI BAZAAR, a shop and exhibition space at ICI’s offices featuring editions, multiples, books, and objects for sale.

ICI BAZAAR will be open through December 18 for all your holiday shopping needs! Located at ICI’s offices in Tribeca, ICI BAZAAR will feature ICI’s recent edition, Caja de Leche by artist Angel Otero. Launched at ICI’s virtual benefit in October, Otero’s glazed ceramic milkcrate reflects the artist’s recent exploration of personal motifs. ICI BAZAAR also features Ebony G. Patterson’s tablecloth and napkin set for ICI’s Benefit in a Box in her unmistakable style using the layered density of a forest or a floral fabric design as the main visual elements. Reflecting on the act of coming together around the table, Patterson poses the question, Who is missing from your table? prompting remembrance of those lost or afar, as well as awareness of exclusion.

Also on view and available are editions launched in 2019 by artist Martine Syms who works with video, installation, and performance as well as Kahlil Robert Irving’s ceramic tile that critically engage with the history of the medium and challenge constructs around identity and culture in western civilization. View these exclusive editions among objects and multiples by Uri Aran, Maurizio Cattelan, Lawrence Weiner, as well as ICI publications such as Zdenka Badovinac’s Comradeship: Curating, Art, and Politics in Post-Socialist Europe.

Independent Curators International (ICI)

Independent Curators International (ICI) supports the work of curators to help create stronger art communities through experimentation, collaboration, and international engagement. Curators are arts community leaders and organizers who champion artistic practice; build essential infrastructures and institutions; and generate public engagement with art. Our collaborative programs connect curators across generations, and across social, political and cultural borders. They form an international framework for sharing knowledge and resources — promoting cultural exchange, access to art, and public awareness for the curator’s role.
