Living As Form (The Nomadic Version) will open on April 18, 2014, at the Herndon Gallery at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio. The exhibition brings together projects whose emphasis on participation, dialogue and action have led them to be categorized by art historians as social practice, relational aesthetics, new genre public art, and dialogic arts. All of the works in the exhibition show a commitment to community, activism, and social change and engage with such topics as health care, convening, access, food, and race to name but a few. Herndon Gallery has also organized a A Living As Form Symposium to take place from May 9–11 and will include performances, discussions, community hearings.
Living as Form (The Nomadic Version) is co-organized by Creative Time and Independent Curators International (ICI), and assembled in collaboration with Antioch College.
