Co-curators Cecilia Fajardo-Hill and Andrea Giunta will speak about the exhibition Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960–1985, which will be on view at the Brooklyn Museum from April 13–July 22, 2018. The conversation will be moderated by Curatorial Intensive alumna Marcela Guerrero.
The first exhibition to explore the groundbreaking contributions to contemporary art of Latin American and Latina women artists during a period of extraordinary conceptual and aesthetic experimentation, Radical Women: Latin American Art, 1960–1985 features more than 120 artists from 15 countries, focusing on their use of the female body for political and social critique and artistic expression. For more information on the exhibition, please visit the Brooklyn Museum website here.
