Members of the International Forum visited Moscow and St. Petersburg on the occasion of the grand opening of Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow, June 2015.

 

The International Forum brings together an exclusive group of people who share ICI’s mission and global reach.

INTERNATIONAL FORUM 2015 CALENDAR HIGHLIGHTS* 

Trip to Russia
June 9–15

On occasion of the grand opening of the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, designed by Rem Koolhaas, ICI organized a unique patrons’ trip to Moscow and St. Petersburg. Revealing the realities and latest developments in Russian contemporary art and society, the experience included exclusive encounters with Dasha Zhukova, Anton Belov and Kate Fowle of Garage; with Moscow Biennial founder Joseph Backstein; artists Yuri Albert, Yuri Avvakumov; and many others.

Trip to Chicago + EXPO ART WEEK

September 17–20

Patrons joined ICI in Chicago for EXPO ART WEEK and took a tour of the art fair and the city’s cultural hot spots. Gained VIP Access to EXPO CHICAGO Art Fair, where ICI presented a selection of limited edition art works, including a sculpture by Jessica Stockholder. Connected with curators, artists and other ICI Collaborators at select events, gallery visits, and a private collection tour.

 

ICI CONVERSATIONS:

SoHo and the Lower East Side

September 26

Members of the International Forum started the New York fall art season with a tour of select galleries in the Lower East Side and SoHo before joining Dia Art Foundation’s Megan Holly Witko, an alumna of ICI’s Curatorial Intensive program, for a special access tour of Walter de Maria’s New York Earth Room and The Broken Kilometer.

Miami Luncheon

During Art Basel Miami Beach

Members of the International Forum joined ICI collaborators, Leadership Council members, the ICI Board of Trustees, guest curators, and artists at the Annual Miami Luncheon. Discovering ICI’s latest Limited Edition at NADA Miami, and let ICI guide them through the key moments of the Miami art fairs and events surrounding Art Basel Miami Beach.

Patrons of the International Forum contribute $2,500 to ICI, which goes directly towards supporting the organization’s international programs. ICI is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution.

ICI Patrons Events During Frieze Week

On Friday, May 6, ICI’s Independents and closest friends and colleagues met on Randall’s Island for brunch co-hosted once again with Frieze. The next day, we met for a spring picnic on Saturday, May 7, at NADA on the Basketball City pier.
