People’s Gallery Summer Residencies

Curious to know what San Francisco’s People’s Gallery has been up to this summer? A series of artist residencies! This August, the gallery offered week-long residencies and events that focused on creating immersive, open environment and exposure for emerging West Coast and Bay Area artists. Each resident artist or group occupied the gallery for a week to create and exhibit their work. Resident artists included: Jeffrey Harland,  Jennifer Hennesy, Jessalyn Aaland, Lisa Rybovich Crallé, BOYS OF SUMMER (Ashkahn Shahparnia, Conrad Ruiz, Emilio Santoyo, Mark Batongmalaque, Ryan Perez & Kristofferson San Pablo), and Olivia Calix (Parker Ito & Sarah Hartnett).
