Svetlana Kuyumdzhieva

Svetlana Kuyumdzhieva (b. 1977) is a critic and curator in Sofia, Bulgaria. She holds a Master’s degree in Art History (2003) from the National Academy of Arts, Sofia. Kuyumdzhieva works as a committed art critic in Kultura, the only newspaper for culture and art in Bulgaria. Since 2003 she has been the curator in one of the most reputable noncommercial art spaces in Sofia currently renamed to Credo Bonum Gallery. She is a visiting curator at numerous venues in Bulgaria that focus on contemporary art, and carries out her own projects.
